Washington - 4,500 feet
The Olympic National Park is now a 200 square mile island cluster. The national park chain through central Washington is now made up of island clusters. A few small islands remain in the Northeastern corner of the state and a 150 square mile island now makes up the northern tip of the Whitman National Forest that enters Washington from Oregan.
