	*Massachusetts - 150 feet* The first area to be submerged is Cape Cod with only a small island west of Barnstable above sea level. Most coastal cities would be underwater including the capital city of Boston, Peabody, Lynn and Haverhill. In slower or long lasting sea level rise, water could make its way up the Connecticut River which would be expanding its banks and inundate Chicopee and Springfield.
