Idaho - 6,000 feet
Interstate 15 is now underwater along with the cities of Idaho Falls and Pocatello. The central portion of the state is the largest land mass above sea level and includes the higher ridges of the Payette, Sawtooth and Challis National Forests and the Idaho Primitive Area. A few towns remain above sea level, all in the eastern state border areas such as Island Park, Driggs and Montpelier.
