Hawaii - Current Level
April Fools Tsunami (see below). With Hawaii nestled in the center of the Pacific Ring of Fire, tsunami is a known fear. One advantage Hawaii has is its terrain; steep slopes.

April 1, 1946: The April Fools tsunami, triggered by an earthquake in Alaska, killed 159 people, mostly in Hawaii. It reached a wave height of 45 feet in Hawaii, took 5 hours to reach and caused $26 in damage (1946 dollars).
