Arizona - 6,000 feet
The Colorado River has now flooded into the area east of Flagstaff flooding the lower valley south to the Petrified Forest National Park and area of St. Johns. From Utah, water has also flooded down route 191 almost to Ganado leaving the Painted Desert as a peninsula. Flagstaff also sits on a long peninsula. The Grand Canyon National Park has formed into a large island and there are many small islands in the Prescott and Coronado National Forests.
